In this project, Impact Labelling’s trees are planted in selected areas that help restore biodiversity and reduce carbon emissions. The EOSDA (Earth Observing System) platform, accessible through Evertreen, provides advanced satellite monitoring, which allows us to track the health and growth of these trees from a dashboard. Through this technology, we gain real-time insights into various factors, including plant health, soil conditions, and growth rates. These insights allow us to make timely decisions to keep trees thriving in their environment.
The platform offers detailed information on indicators like plant growth and soil moisture, which are essential for long-term forest health. By understanding these conditions, we can respond effectively to any emerging issues that might affect the growth of these trees.

The satellite system provides data through different vegetation and moisture indices, which help us monitor plant health and environmental conditions. Some of the key indices include:
- NDVI (Normalised Difference Vegetation Index): This index reflects the general health of plants by showing how vegetation absorbs and reflects light. Lower values can signal potential health concerns, making NDVI a useful tool for identifying stressed areas.
- NDRE (Normalised Difference Red-Edge Index): The NDRE is particularly effective during the middle stages of plant growth, measuring photosynthetic activity and nitrogen concentration in leaves.
